Moderate peeling combined with moisturizing agents. It reduces the appearance of dark spots and hyperpigmentation.

Contains hydroxyphenoxy propionic acid, a non-toxic derivative of hydroquinone, to reduce melanin transfer to skin cells in all the layers of the skin. The formula also includes 14% salicylic acid to enhance exfoliation of dark spots at the skin surface and enhance penetration of the active ingredients.

INGREDIENTS
Alcohol denat, salicylic acid, aqua, lactic acid, citric acid, azelaic acid, isopropyl alcohol, kojic acid, hexylresorcinol, hydroxyphenoxy propionic acid.

NOTE: The products may contain a fine dust in the base which disappears with gentle agitation. Does not affect the efficacy of the product.

Azelaic Acid

Antibacterial, tyrosinase inhibitor acting as whitening and brightening agent. Keratinization normalizer. Antioxidant.

Hexylresorcinol

Powerful antioxidant with whitening and anti-spot capacity. Modulates melanogenesis safely and effectively.

Hydroxyphenoxy Propionic Acid

Reduces skin hyperpigmentation. It protects cells from damage caused by UVB radiation and reducing the release of inflammatory agents.

Description

Classification: Very Superficial
Level of penetration: Thins or removes the stratum corneum and does not create a wound below the stratum granulosum
Application time: 3-5 minutes
Number of layers applied: Up to 6 layers continuous coverage of the treatment area
Endpoints: Level I degree of frosting observed. Powdery whitening of the skin in certain spots and patchy mild erythema, in some cases.
Neutralization: This is a self-neutralizing blended peel, effectively diluted and neutralized by water and other components of the skin. Usage of neutralizers are recommended for first-timers.
Post-procedure: Mild desquamation on D2 in some cases.

How to use

APPLICATION PROTOCOL FOR PEELINGS
Remove the makeup with cleansing milk followed by double-cleansing with a gel cleanser

  • Apply a degreasing solution on the treated area
  • Protect the eyes and lips area with ointment
  • Apply the peel chosen with a brush, cotton swab, or gauze
  • Check the time of exposition
  • Look for the end point
  • Remove the peeling with water. This step will increase the burning sensation. In sensitive skins avoid this step
  • Generously apply the neutralizing solution on the area treated
  • Clean the area with abundant water
  • Apply a recuperative product
  • Apply sunscreen daily

GENERAL PRECAUTIONS

  • Daily sunscreen application is mandatory after the treatment
  • Number of layers depends on skin type. Never use more than 5 layers

BEFORE THE PEELING TREATMENT

  • Do not apply any other exfoliant treatment during 3 weeks before the peeling treatment
  • Do not use any aggressive AHA or BHA homecare products 5 days before the treatment
  • Do not shave the area 24 hours before the treatment

 AFTER THE PEELING TREATMENT

  • Do not use any product containing Retinoids during the next 6 months after the peeling treatment
  • Avoid shaving the treated area after 15 days
  • Do not use make up until the 3rd day of the treatment

 POST-TREATMENT SECONDARY EFFECTS

  • Mild skin peeling maybe noticed 2-3 days post-peeling

Once peeling applied, there will be normal redness. Remove and neutralize immediately if there is burning or unbearable biting sensation. Normally, the burning and biting sensation can be supported during the first 2 minutes

SALICYLIC PEEL

Effective treatment for acne. It acts an anti-inflammatory and helps to immediately reduce the inflammation of the acne. This peeling also improves the appearance of aging and sun-damaged skin.
